Programs, Social Events & Networking

The City Bar has a number of substantive programs on various issues of law, as well as social events where law students and attorneys have the opportunity to mingle and network.

I found the Bootcamp to be extremely informative. It taught important skill building such as effectively utilizing our social media brand, networking for non-networkers and assessing our communication style. Talking to the attorneys gave me good insight into what employers are seeking in candidates and how to better distinguish myself amongst a pool of competitive applicants. – Raabia Qasim

I think the best part of the Summer Series programs were the breakout sessions where students were able to speak with the panelists in small groups. The conversations flowed easily and I didn't realize that I was networking until an attorney handed me her business card. The discussion leaders and panelists were eager to answer questions honestly and offer any advice they could. – Melissa Reilly
