Lost and Found

The City Bar is not responsible for any personal belongings left unattended, lost, missing or stolen in our building.  All reports of missing property should be directed to Customer Relations by calling (212) 382-6663 or by sending an email to customerrelations@nycbar.org with a description of the item and the date it was lost.  The City Bar will notify the rightful owner by telephone or email if possible. Items can be picked up during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST) with a valid photo ID.  The City Bar can also return items by mail at the recipient’s expense.  Any unclaimed or unidentified property will be held for thirty (30) days, although perishable items may be discarded immediately.  After that period, the City Bar will make a decision as to the disposition of the property consistent with applicable law.

Health and Safety

The City Bar does not require visitors to show proof of vaccination or wear a mask when entering the building. In keeping with public health recommendations, we strongly recommend vaccinations for all visitors. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been instructed to isolate, you should reschedule your visit to the building. Masks are not required, but we respect and fully support each person’s decision to wear a mask. In small (1 to 4 person) meetings where it is easier to accommodate individual preferences, please wear a mask if other attendees ask you to.
