Migrants in New York: Dignity in Housing and Healthcare

This event focuses on providing an update on the City’s response to the migrant busing crisis. It provides information pertaining to challenges that the migrants are presently facing to their rights, housing, employment and receipt of benefits. It explores and questions the narrative that migrants are taking away resources from low-income New Yorkers. Legislative experts and on-the-ground advocates discuss the current state of migrants’ rights in New York City and what challenges are to come.
