Karla started at MFJ ten years ago as a volunteer while completing a dual degree in law and public health. She gives us a day in the life of a public interest attorney as well as the long-term goals that she brings to the work. Karla talked about some of the human skills that she deploys in her delicate, family law work – empathy, listening, compassion – and how they make her more impactful.
