Open Call for Lawyers to Defend Public Interest Reporting Worldwide
The Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice invites eligible lawyers and firms to express their interest in providing important legal services to help defend media outlets and public interest reporting organizations. "Reporters Shield" defends investigative and other public interest reporting against lawsuits meant to intimidate and financially burden reporters (such as “strategic lawsuits against public participation,” or SLAPPs).
