Middle Eastern & North African Affairs Committee
The Committee on Middle Eastern and North African Affairs (“MENA Committee”) serves as a multi-disciplinary hub for all of New York City’s attorneys whose practices involve the region, as well as for others who are from the region or whose work touches the region. The Committee serves the City Bar’s mission within our unique remit, and thus works to educate ourselves, other attorneys, and the public regarding legal, social, economic and policy issues concerning the MENA region, and engages in advocacy in support of the rule of law and access to justice, both in the region and here at home. The Committee regularly invites MENA-related speakers to its meetings as well as to programs open to the public, and also seeks to foster meaningful connections with other individuals and organizations from, or with an interest in, the MENA region.
