The New York City Bar will be CLOSED starting 2:00 PM on Friday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. We will resume our regular hours at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, September 5th.
The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, formerly the Committee to Enhance Diversity in the Profession, includes representatives from the City Bar’s signatory law firms, in-house legal departments, government agencies, the judiciary, educational institutions, and experts in issues of diversity, equity and inclusion. With the goal of increasing access to achievement in the profession to all individuals, the Committee strives to identify, exemplify and further best practices through toolkits, reports, and programs, and acts as a resource for City Bar leadership and for other City Bar committees. Working together with the City Bar’s Office for Diversity & Inclusion, the Committee provides thought leadership and a forum for sharing ideas and fostering dialogue among the City Bar’s Diversity Cluster Committees.
Criminal Justice, Police Reform and Civil Rights section - addresses the intersection of criminal laws, policing and racial justice, and contains information regarding City Bar reports and programming on those subjects.
