Revised Restrictions on Entry to Courthouses of the Eastern District of New York – EDNY

8.5.20 – EDNY District Court – AO 2020-22, “Revised Restrictions on Entry to Courthouses of the Eastern District of New York.” This administrative order, dated August 5, 2020, supersedes AO 2020-05, and sets forth a list of people restricted from entering EDNY courthouses, including persons who have been advised to self-quarantine by any doctor, hospital or health agency within the last 14 days; persons who, within the last 14 days, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or told to presume they have COVID-19 by a health professional; persons who have been symptomatic in the last 14 days or who reside with someone who has been symptomatic in the last 14 days; persons who have returned within the last 14 days from international travel or from a state with a significant COVID infection rate that meets the criteria for required quarantine in NYS; and persons who have been released from a federal, state, or local jail or other detention facility in the last 14 days (except if they are reporting to be fitted for a location monitoring device).
