New Members Elected to City Bar Fund Board

The City Bar Fund of the New York City Bar Association has announced the election of four new Board members. The Fund operates the pro bono, diversity & inclusion, and other public interest activities of the City Bar, which include the City Bar Justice Center, the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion, and the Lawyer Assistance Program.

The following members were elected to the City Bar Fund Board by the Executive Committee of the New York City Bar Association: Allen D. Applbaum, Managing Director, Global Investigations + Strategic Intelligence, Berkeley Research Group; Livia M. Corredor, Co-Director of Legal Affairs at Forest City Ratner Companies; Roxanne Elings, Partner, Davis Wright Tremaine; and Darren LaVerne, Partner, Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.

The Chair of the City Bar Fund, Jane Sherburne, of Sherburne PLLC, said, “We are delighted to welcome these new members to our Board and look forward to their contributions to the continued vibrancy of our City Bar Fund programs.”

John S. Kiernan, Partner, Debevoise & Plimpton, and President, New York City Bar Association, serves ex-officio as President of the City Bar Fund.
