Hochul Signs Bill to Add Supreme and Family Court Judges, Addressing Critical Shortage
Hoylman, chairman of the Senate judiciary committee, said lawmakers identified the need for where to place the new judges based off a New York City Bar Association report that showed the crisis and what they called deep inequities in Family Court.
