City Bar Awards Henry L. Stimson Medals

On June 4th, the City Bar presented its annual Henry L. Stimson Medals to honor the work of Assistant U.S. Attorneys in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. This year’s recipients were Deborah Zwany, EDNY, Civil Division; Elizabeth Geddes, EDNY, Criminal Division; Pierre Armand, SDNY, Civil Division; and Stephen Ritchin, SDNY, Criminal Division.

The medal is awarded in honor of Henry L. Stimson, who served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District from 1906-1909 and as President of the Association from 1937 to 1939. The medal was cast from an original galvano by Paul Manship, which is owned by the Century Club. The awards are made possible by the generosity of the firm of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, Henry Stimson’s legacy firm.
