12.3.20 EDNY District Court, Administrative Order 2020-26-1, “Amending Administrative Order 2020-26 to Temporarily Suspend In-Person Criminal Proceedings.” Amends AO 2020-26 by adding the following additional language: “For the period December 4, 2020 through January 19, 2021, all criminal hearings, conferences, sentencings, and change of plea hearings shall be conducted remotely, unless the defendant declines to waive the right to be physically present and the Court concludes that the matter cannot be postponed in accordance with the CARES Act.” The full order is available here, and AO 2020-26, which this order amends, is available here.
