NYC Bar Launches Task Force For Civic Education

The New York City Bar Association is launching a task force to develop strategies for legal professionals to help promote civic literacy, the lawyers group said Monday. The civil education task force was developed through the bar’s rule of law task force. It hopes to examine what legal professionals can do to support civic education and efforts to improve civil discourse, fight misinformation and increase civic engagement, the bar said.
