The concept of blowing up the population-based ratio of trial court judges has been endorsed by groups such as the Fund for Modern Courts and the New York City Bar Association. With the legislative session set to begin on Jan. 3, Bores’ bill has garnered backing from both Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Congressman Jerry Nadler, D-New York.
