Doing Well by Doing Good: The Business Development Benefits of Law Firm Pro Bono 10/03/12
Savvy firms understand that we are in a relationship business and take every opportunity to improve and strengthen their relationships with their clients, but many overlook an opportunity staring them in the face – to partner with their clients on their pro bono efforts. Firms do pro bono. Many of our clients – particularly those with large in-house legal departments – also do pro bono. Our panel’s goal is to show lawyers and the marketers who serve them how aligning their pro bono efforts with their clients’ efforts and interests can yield unexpected business benefits. There will be light refreshments and an opportunity for networking.
Speakers: Geoff Goldberg, Chief Advancement Officer, McCarter & English; John Ogden, President/CEO Innovative Results LLC; Bret Parker, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Elizabeth Arden, Inc.; Robert S. Whitman, Seyfarth Shaw LLP
Co-Sponsored by: The Pro Bono and Legal Services Committee, Brenna K. DeVaney, Chair; The Career Advancement and Management Committee, Courtney Fitzgibbons, Chair; The Metropolitan NY Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association
