Originally held on Thursday, May 7, 2020 | 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Program Instructor:

Dianne Rosky
Founder & Principal, Rosky Legal Education LLC

  • This program will focus on four levels of legal writing: document organization, paragraph cohesion, sentence structure, and word choice. Through a series of real-word examples and exercises, participants will learn practical strategies for eliminating common writing weaknesses on each of these four levels. Participants will leave the program with easy-to-implement strategies for drafting effective introductions, providing useful roadmaps, and writing clear, concrete sentences.

This workshop emphasizes general writing skills that are relevant to lawyers across all practice areas, including both litigation and transactional work. The workshop is geared toward junior attorney but provides a useful review for attorneys at all levels.

Please note: This program will consist of audio-only instruction by the faculty, along with a visual aid presentation.

Program Fee: Free for Members | $99 for Nonmembers
