This CLE offers the perspective of in-house counsel, law firm counsel, and litigators who will discuss clauses critical to a successful retail lease. Some of the topics to be discussed include: radius restrictions, co-tenancy, use provisions and exclusive rights, the tenant improvement allowance, restoration obligations, and signage. The panel will use a mock presentation of a negotiation as a means to keep the material interesting and highlight the depth of its presenting panel. The two litigators on the panel will provide an added perspective that is most informative for transactional attorneys. This program is most appropriate for attorneys with some leasing experience.
