Few issues can be as perplexing or hazardous to one’s reputation and career as those involving ethics. This panel discussion will discuss the sources of ethical rules applicable to tax practitioners, and will consider some of the challenges and ethical issues that tax practitioners regularly face regarding attorney advertising, use of contingency fees, providing advice in an uncertain legal environment, tax return preparation, settlements, litigation and fee disputes with clients. Panelists from government, law firms and CPA firms will offer practical perspectives as they consider ethical dilemmas common to tax practices. Any tax practitioner that ignores the warnings and insights that will be provided by this program’s presenters does so at his or her own risk.
Program Fee: $199 for Members | $299 for Nonmembers
