This annual update program will explore current issues and recent developments relating to ethical duties and responsibilities of attorneys and other participants in corporate internal investigations involving public companies and other entities. These issues will be discussed from the point of view of counsel for the entity, investigating counsel, counsel for individual executives and government representatives. This year’s program will devote special attention to ethical issues raised by the COVID-19 pandemic, touching on protection of client information, conflicts of interest, the attorney-client privilege, counseling of employee witnesses, and interaction with government agencies.
Program Fee: $179 for Members | $279 for Nonmembers
Members who are Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in any state or country 2018-2020), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges, or attorneys that practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.
