You’ve won the lawsuit but now the defendant won’t pay the judgment. This course examines in detail the process of turning a judgment into an actual financial recovery for your client.
Topics to be discussed include:
- How to locate and restrain the debtor’s assets,
- Proving fraudulent conveyance when the debtor has improperly transferred assets in order to evade creditors, and
- How to take possession of and sell those assets in order to satisfy the judgment.
New York practitioners will learn how to implement the most effective methods to collect outstanding judgments for their clients.
