This CLE will familiarize attorneys with automated “smart contracts” such as those made possible by Ethereum. The CLE will describe the potential impact of smart contract technology on assorted industries and legal specialties (securities, real estate, supply chain, etc.), familiarize the audience with issues pertaining to the drafting of smart contracts, and explore how and when smart contracts are legally enforceable and binding.
