The program will provide an inside perspective from the real estate industry on the future of affordable housing in New York City. Speakers will focus on the evolution of as well as changes to affordable housing programs and tax incentive programs since the last program in May 2015. Seasoned practitioners from the private and public sectors will discuss the role of the City and State in conjunction with for-profit developers and not for profit organizations in developing and preserving affordable housing. Participants will gain a new perspective and insight into the statutory, regulatory and practical considerations that will drive the preservation and development of affordable housing in the future.
