  • Strong communication skills are critical to lawyers’ professional success and advancement. In this interactive workshop, participants learn strategies for communicating clearly and confidently, both in writing and in speech. Based on a series of examples and exercises, participants learn practical strategies for quickly improving the quality of their professional communications by eliminating the most common writing and speaking weaknesses.

    The program will cover strategies including:

    • Conveying confidence through your written and spoken communications
    • Presenting information in an organized, professional manner
    • Communicating clearly in stressful situations

    Special attention will be paid to the similarities and differences between written and spoken communication. Participants walk away with concrete, practical tools they can use immediately.
