This course focuses on the manner in which concepts are expressed in a contract, rather than the substance of any provision or contract in particular. Areas of focus will include:  basic types of provisions such as defined terms, representations and warranties, conditions precedent, covenants, and remedial provisions. The course will also cover basic contract drafting conventions, the best ways to identify and use precedents and avoiding legalese.
