Safeguarding the 2024 Election: The Role for Lawyers

While the stakes are enormous in the 2024 election, misinformation, efforts to delegitimize the election and other obstacles can prevent and discourage people from exercising the franchise.

Lawyers have a special role to play in helping to preserve the election system, by litigating and advocating to preserve the opportunity to vote and keep elections free and fair, and by helping voters navigate pitfalls.

This program, featuring speakers engaged in ensuring fair elections, aims to explain what is at stake, identify the many issues to be addressed, and encourage lawyer involvement in safeguarding this crucial election.
