Perspectives of First-Generation Lawyers

To provide guidance and insight as to the challenges and obstacles faced by first-generation lawyers and the different ways, they overcame them. The panel includes attorneys from public interest agencies and private practice and a law student. The panelists provide background as to their area of work, how they came to specialize in their particular areas of law, and their first-generation experiences. The discussion will includes ways to use the first-generation experience during the legal hiring process.
