Sheryl has coached and counseled more than 3,000 attorneys and other senior professionals across industries about how to take ownership of their careers and achieve their potential. She appreciates the uniqueness of each client and customizes her assignments to his or her individual needs.
Prior to founding Progress in Work, Sheryl held senior positions in human resources management consulting, marketing and sales for several Fortune 500 companies.
Sheryl received her graduate psychological counseling degrees (M.A. and Ed.M.) with honors from Columbia University, at which her field of study was Psychological Counseling with a specialization in Business and Industry.
Sheryl is certified as an executive coach from i-Coach NY. She has been bestowed the honor of Fellow by the Institute of Career Certification International, the preeminent body certifying career management practitioners. A Fellow is one of the highest levels that can be achieved in the career management field.
Sheryl has lectured and written extensively about career and business development topics. Her articles appeared in legal publications such as the NALP Bulletin, New York Law Journal, Law Journal Newsletters, Law Practice Today and The Lawyers Connect E-Newsletter.
