Written Testimony of the New York City Bar Association in Support of Int. 214-A, Providing a Right to Counsel in Housing Court
City Bar President John S. Kiernan joined advocacy groups and elected officials at City Hall to testify at a City Council Committee on Courts and Legal Services hearing in support of Int. 214-A. If enacted into law, the legislation will provide legal representation to low-income tenants facing eviction.
