New York City Bar Association Announces Leadership Changes

The New York City Bar Association has announced the results of its annual election to fill its leadership positions: 

Susan J. Kohlmann, Jenner & Block LLP, returns as President.  

Juan A. Arteaga, Crowell & Moring LLP; Devika Kewalramani, Moses & Singer LLP; and Anna M. Pohl, Thomson Reuters, were elected Vice Presidents. 

Paula T. Edgar returns as Secretary of the Association.  

Jyotin Hamid was elected Treasurer.  

Michele Cerezo Natal, Mayer Brown, will serve as Chair of the Board of Directors, and Philip Desgranges, The Legal Aid Society, will serve as Secretary of the Board.  

Members elected to the Board at its annual meeting in May 2023 are: Neysa Alsina, New York State Executive Chamber; Patrick T. Campbell, Baker & Hostetler LLP; James P. Chou, Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP; Brian D. Farkas, ArentFox Schiff LLP; Sean Hecker, Kaplan Hecker & Fink LLP; Gary M. Kaufman, Law Office of Gary Kaufman, PLLC; and Jennifer Rodgers, Columbia University. 

In keeping with the City Bar’s diversity objectives, 19 of the Board’s 26 members are women or from other historically underrepresented groups.
