Women in the Courts Task Force

The Women in the Courts Task Force addresses issues pertaining to the obstacles women face as attorneys, litigants and court personnel. Because of its broad mandate, the Task Force has addressed a wide variety of issues, ranging from language access and domestic violence related topics to challenges women face as advocates in the courtroom. The Task Force has worked closely with OCA, several public service organizations and other City Bar committees to push for reform to remedy gender-based disparities in the courts and bring to the City Bar audience programs of interest on a wide range of topics.
