During the transitional period following U.S. Presidential elections, the City Bar’s committees send “transition memos” to the incoming administration. These memos are designed to convey the City Bar’s views on a variety of issues as policy discussions proceed and as the incoming administration sets out to implement its priorities. This page provides the transition memos (click "Reports") and related news and updates.
For more information, please see former City Bar President John Kiernan’s 2016 column “After the Election, What’s Next?” and our Federal Policy Update in the Winter/Spring 2019 44th Street Notes.
