Letter to the New York Ethics Review Commission regarding the scope of its mission and ability to provide both “administrative and legislative” recommendations

SUMMARY

Sent in response to comments made at the October 14, 2015 New York Ethics Commission hearing, the Government Ethics Committee sent a follow-up letter to the Commission to indicate its belief that the mandate of the Commission covers both “administrative and legislative” recommendations and to urge an extension to the deadline for the Commission’s review.
