Recruitment & Retention of Lawyers Committee

The Committee on Recruitment and Retention of Lawyers sponsors the City Bar’s Diversity Fellowship Program. The goal of the Fellowship Program is to offer law students who have encountered barriers on their path to a legal career, which may include membership in a group that has been historically and/or presently underrepresented in the profession, a unique summer employment opportunity in outstanding New York City law firms and corporate law departments after their first year of law school. The Committee works throughout the year to successfully develop and administer the Fellowship Program.
