Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Committee

The Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Committee addresses current issues related to employee benefits and executive compensation.

Recent topics addressed by the Committee include: executive compensation for tax-exempt and governmental employers; the proposed expansion by the U.S. Department of Labor of the definition of “fiduciary” under ERISA; the impact of health care reform on employers and employees (including grandfathered plan status under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act); and lessons regarding executive compensation learned from the TARP program.
