Lawyers Connect Overview

ylc

Responding to the challenges of being a busy young attorney or law student, the City Bar created Lawyers Connect, a mix of live events and online programming for young attorneys, be it through age or professional experience, and law students who want to take an active role in their career. Lawyers Connect was created to help you excel in your professional life, maintain a personal life, and enjoy your legal career.

Join us October through May at First Thursdays, a series of events where you can create and grow both professional and personal relationships. First Thursdays events occur every other month and feature activities from speed networking to Trivia Night to a Whiskey Tasting, a Beer Tasting featuring local breweries, and--most recently and well-reviewed--a Tequila Tasting.

In addition, enhance your management, communication, and other important skills at our Career Development Programs.

Lawyers Connect: Virtual Trivia Night

Thursday, March 11, 2021 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Program Fee: $20 Members | $40 Non-Members

We're bringing a night of trivia to you – virtually! Show up solo or with a pre-formed team to test the limits of your obscure knowledge. Not a trivia-master? Don’t worry! We’ll have something for everyone (that doesn’t require you to remember everything you learned in your 8th-grade history class).

The rules are straightforward: three rounds, each with different themes. You’ll have the opportunity to network and collaborate with your team to answer a series of questions in each round. The team with the most right answers wins!

Grab your spot now by registering in advance and we'll send you more information in the coming weeks. Until then? Brush up on your trivia and get ready to rack your brains – its game on!

Team information:

  • You do not have to have a team to join. Those coming solo will be placed on a team with others who are there to network.
  • If you have a team (max 5 people), once everyone has registered, email the names of your teams to mdeangelis@nycbar.org.
