Lawyers Connect Overview
Responding to the challenges of being a busy young attorney or law student, the City Bar created Lawyers Connect, a mix of live events and online programming for young attorneys, be it through age or professional experience, and law students who want to take an active role in their career. Lawyers Connect was created to help you excel in your professional life, maintain a personal life, and enjoy your legal career.
Join us October through June at First Thursdays, a series of events where you can create and grow both professional and personal relationships. First Thursdays events occur every other month and feature activities from speed networking to Trivia Night to a Whiskey Tasting, a Beer Tasting featuring local breweries, and - most recently and well-reviewed - a Champage Tasting.
In addition, new lawyers can enhance their management, communication, and other important skills at our Career Development Programs.
