Survival of the Fittest: As Baby Boomers Retire, NY Bar Associations Face Harsh Realities
“Despite the plethora of bar associations in New York State, Roger Maldonado, president of the New York City Bar Association, emphasizes that the competition among them is not the problem. There was a time, after all, not that long ago when New York lawyers participated in multiple bar associations. ‘We do not consider other bar associations as competitors, we see them as colleagues and allies in what we do,’ he explained.”
