Marks, “Revised Procedure for Addressing Eviction Proceedings.” Citing to certain Executive Orders, this memorandum addresses, among other things, (1) notices to be served with newly-issued petitions in eviction matters (referencing the potential right to certain pandemic-related defenses and information regarding legal help); (2) the need to use colored paper for such notices; (3) that that methods of filing and service in eviction matters, previously altered in various respects for pandemic-related reasons, will return to normal practice; and (4) that default judgments may now again be entered in eviction matters where otherwise appropriate.
