This symposium will cover the criminal and civil liability and ethical dilemmas facing doctors when treating the affluent, influential, or famous patient. With a case loosely based upon recent celebrity deaths due to overdose, a panel of medical and legal experts will engage in a town hall-style discussion on how and why doctors find themselves in trouble with the law, and what their best defense might be.
