In Conversation: District Attorney Alvin Bragg and U.S. Attorney Damian Williams

Damian Williams, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, and Alvin Bragg, District Attorney for New York County, joined the City Bar for a conversation about what needs to be done in 2022 to improve criminal justice, racial justice and community safety while supporting New York City’s economic and societal recovery in the wake of the pandemic.

Jim Johnson, COO, Trinity Church Wall Street and former New York City Corporation Counsel, moderated a discussion that touched on a wide range of challenges facing their offices such as gun control and the investigation and prosecution of gun offenses; violence interruption programs; and bail reform.
