Donovan Vows to Have a Diverse Staff

U.S. Rep. Dan Donovan, who is busy settling into his brand new job as a congressman, is looking for help. Donovan is hiring staff members to work in his two district offices – in Brooklyn and Staten Island – and is inviting what he termed the “best and brightest” New Yorkers to submit resumes. Donovan pledged to have diversity on his staff. As the Staten Island district attorney, Donovan received a “Diversity Champion Award” from the New York City Bar Association in 2006 for increasing diversity among the office’s staff.
