Citizenship NOW! is opening the door to America — here are some frequently asked questions

Q: Where can I get help applying for citizenship? A: Call-in volunteers can refer you to a free or low-cost legal service provider. Or, in New York City, you can call 311. Outside New York, try ImmigrationLawHelp.org. If you want to hire an attorney, try the City Bar Association Referral Panel at (212) 626-7373 or the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Immigration Lawyer Search at ailalawyer.com. You can get do-it-yourself help becoming a U.S. citizen online at citizenshipworks.org.
