NY Chief Judge Floats Overhaul Of ‘Outdated’ State Courts
Wednesday’s press release highlighted support for the reform proposal from some of the largest and most well-known law firms in New York, including Greenberg Traurig LLP, Proskauer Rose LLP, Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton. The release also named the New York City Bar Association, the Dean of Fordham Law School, the New York Legal Assistance Group and many other nonprofits and legal services organizations as supporters of the initiative.
