Community Outreach

The New York City Bar Legal Referral Service hosts a variety of free events and programs throughout the city. In offering these programs, our goal is to educate New Yorkers about their legal rights and help them be proactive in addressing legal issues they confront.

We are in the business of public service. For more than 75 years, we have made it our mission to help individuals and businesses find the right lawyer to meet their legal needs. In operation since 1946, we are a non-profit program that provides referrals in almost all areas of law to screened and experienced lawyers practicing in the New York metropolitan area.
