  • A panel of experienced employment attorneys will discuss a range of ethical issues that arise frequently, though not exclusively, in the context of negotiating settlement in employment cases. Issues that will be addressed include:

    • The duty of candor in negotiations
    • Raising the possibility of criminal prosecution
    • Suggesting limits on future representation
    • Threatening adverse publicity
    • Representing multiple parties & crafting aggregate settlements
    • Confidentiality restrictions
    • Settling fee obligations

    Program Fee:
