  • This program will give a general overview of the key aspects of intellectual property (IP) law, and their core concerns. The goal is to provide small firm general practitioners with a taste of the many and complex issues in IP so that they can better spot potential IP problems that they or their clients may face. The program will include a general introduction to IP and an illustrative case study; a brief presentation on each of the four main pillars of IP (Trademarks, Copyrights, Patents and Trade Secrets); and a moderated panel discussion designed to bring to life how the various IP issues may arise in course of clients’ day-to-day business.
