Governor Andrew M. Cuomo convened a group referred to as the Medicaid Redesign Team II (MRT II) to give recommendations on ways to cut costs associated with the long term care Medicaid program. As a result, the New York State Budget for FY 2020-2021 implemented major changes to this program. This program will outline the amendments to the law that have been made and how this will impact the ways in which we advise clients in the practice of Elder Law, the regulations that need to be promulgated, and the dates by which the new changes should take effect.
Please note: This program will consist of audio-only instruction by the faculty, along with a visual aid presentation.
