  • This CLE program focuses on the procedural rules of the Appellate Division and Court of Appeals in New York, including the effect COVID-19 has on these rules. Attendees will learn how to take and perfect appeals in New York’s Appellate Division, pursuant to the statewide practice rules, individual department rules, and electronic filing rules, and in New York’s Court of Appeals, pursuant to that court’s own unique rules of procedure.

    Who Should Attend: Appellate practitioners and litigators who may find themselves engaged in an appeal.

    Members who are Recent Law Graduates, Newly Admitted Lawyers (admitted for the first time in any state or country 2018-2020), In-House/Corporate Counsel, Judges, or attorneys that practice within the Government, Academic or Not-for-Profit sectors attend this program for free.
