Like many other segments of the economy, the nonprofit sector is emerging from the unprecedented health, social and economic crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic to a significantly altered landscape. This year’s Nonprofit Institute will bring New York’s vibrant nonprofit community back together to explore significant developments in the sector during this period, including in the areas of:
- Cryptocurrency
- Online Fundraising
- Employment Law and Practice
- Fiscal Sponsorship
- Partnerships and Joint Ventures
As always, we will have an engaging ethics session examining some of the tricky ethical quandaries counsel to nonprofit clients confront, and expert insight into the current processes and priorities of the Internal Revenue Service and the Charities Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s Office.
Who Should Attend: This full-day program is intended to serve in-house and outside counsel with a well-developed background in nonprofit law, but it will also be a useful and informative session for not-for-profit organizational managers as well as lawyers who focus on other sectors and seek to enhance their early practice in the not-for-profit field.
Program Fee:
$599 for Members | $699 for Nonmembers
