New Jersey Bridge-the-Gap: Satisfy the Mandatory 15 Credits and More (Day Two)

Wednesday, December 11, 2019 | 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • This program will provide essential information from a skilled faculty that will guide you through the day-to-day practice of law. Topics in required practice areas will include eight of the nine specified subject areas (basic estate planning, law practice management, family, real estate closing, municipal court practice, civil, criminal and landlord/tenant practice) required of newly admitted New Jersey attorneys.

Special Bonus: This program will include one hour of ethics credit. The ethics segment will explore the New Jersey Rules of Professional Ethics and address what “competence” under RPC 1.1 means in the practice of law. The speakers will cover how to communicate and share confidential information and use “Cloud” services to store confidential information consistent with RPC 1.6. Attendees will learn how to understand what “supervision” means when dealing with personnel within a firm and outside consultants under RPCs 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3, and recognize how social media might be used to advertise and communicate about legal services under RPC 7.1, and the following sections.

New Jersey attorneys are advised to bring their bar number to the program.

Each Bridge-the-Gap program contains updated content and will provide CLE credit to all attendees, even if they attended in the past.

Barred in New York, California and/or Pennsylvania?  You too can receive credit to satisfy your CLE requirements.

This program will not be taped. You will only have the chance to see it – live!
