Managing Attorney Stress with Colleen Saidman Yee and Rodney Yee: UZIT Tools and Techniques to Cultivate Equanimity( OnDemand)

Originally held on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 | 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm

  • Please join the City Bar’s Mindfulness and Well-Being in Law Committee for a special program with world-renowned yoga teachers and authors, Colleen Saidman Yee and Rodney Yee.  During these challenging times, many individuals struggle to find accessible resources or prioritize time for self-care. In this program participants will expand their understanding of challenges to attorney well-being and learn established stress management techniques to support rest and renewal. Launched out of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy program, UZIT promotes everyday self-care by providing a sense of inner peace and stillness amidst the frenzied energy and pace and unique demands of today’s world, which disproportionately impacts attorneys who constantly face pressure to perform and excel. The integration of body awareness meditations, breathing exercises and essential oils with the appropriate mindful movements or restorative yoga poses can foster optimal relaxation and ease stress. UZIT is for anyone, anywhere and anytime—but especially for stressed-out lawyers—and will meet you where you are. No prior yoga experience is needed.
